Doing your own advertising?
You’ve got the message down pat, but your images… well, maybe they’re not quite what you hoped for, even with that great camera of yours.
If it makes you feel better, it’s not the camera. It’s all about getting the subject right, the lighting right, the angle right, and the background perfect. Then processing the final image for the medium you’re printing in – magazine, newspaper, Yellow Pages, postcards. That’s where years of experience make all the difference, just as they do in your business.
I picked up my first camera at the age of seven and more than 40 years later I’m the photographer of choice for many businesses in Queensland, including Telstra, Brisbane City Council, Volvo Truck and Bus, National Glass, Bradnams Windows and Doors, local Raine and Horne, LJ Hooker, BHP Billiton and Premier Anna Bligh. I shoot a wide range of subjects – from people to products to outdoors. And for a variety of uses – print ads, catalogues, brochures, sales promotions and public relations.
Rising young rock star Adam Coleman chose me to shoot his album cover (and was blown away by the result). And when the Asia Pacific Cities Summit was held in Brisbane, the Civic Affairs Department of the Lord Mayors Office asked me photograph the event and the visiting dignitaries as their official photographer. I even do photographs for the mining industry!
Whether you need photos of products, prime ministers or something in between, there’s every chance I can help.
I have served as President, Vice President and Treasurer of the Professional Photographers Association of Queensland and I am the founding member of Pixel Photographics and Associates Queensland.
Not every photo is worth a thousand words… just a special few. My fees begin at $295 and I’m happy to quote your project or event without obligation.
